About Lussavara
One company for the equipment, the installation and the paperwork.
Lussavara Company Limited is a specialist mechanical contractor and supplier based at Ubungo Plaza in Dar es Salaam. We were founded in 2013 to close a gap in Tanzania's industrial sector: no single CRB-certified specialist offered fire protection, mechanical and plumbing works together with genuine UL/FM equipment in stock.
So we built one. Supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance sit under one CRB dossier — one team, one standard and one point of accountability, from the first specification to the signed handover.
We are registered with the Contractors Registration Board as a Specialist Mechanical contractor, Class 2, and in 2023 were named Risk, Audit & Protection Company of the Year at the Acoya Awards. Today a specialist team of two to ten experts serves clients across Dar es Salaam and the regions.

THE FOUNDERS
Built by two founders who wanted one company to answer for the whole job.
Lussavara began in Dar es Salaam in 2013, with a gap the founders could see in Tanzania's industrial sector: no single CRB-certified specialist offered fire protection, mechanical and plumbing works together with genuine UL/FM equipment in stock.
Yahya Shemweta, our Managing Director, took on the supply chain and the standards — sourcing genuine UL/FM equipment and making sure every installation follows NFPA and BS methodology under the company's CRB Class 2 registration. Eng. Mussa Silwimba, Director of Operations, took on the ground — delivering on site, checking the quality of the work and handing each project over to the client.
Together they set the rule the company still works by: genuine equipment, certified installation, and no compromise on safety. Lussavara was registered with the Contractors Registration Board in 2022, and in 2023 was named Risk, Audit & Protection Company of the Year at the Acoya Awards.
Today a specialist team of two to ten experts works from Ubungo Plaza — with the same two founders accountable for every job that leaves the door.
